How to Play Takamachi

Each player receives an equal number of dice from the 12 included in the game. Everyone rolls at the same time. As the dice land, players scan the table and race to identify which shape or colour appears the most.

When you think you have the answer, call it out and flip the sand timer. The other players now have ten seconds to find a shape or colour that appears more frequently. If they cannot, you win the round and remove one of your dice from play.

The goal is simple: be the first player to get rid of all your dice.

There is one twist that changes everything. If you spot two identical shapes in the same colour, shout “Takamachi” and win the round instantly. This real-time element keeps every round tense, exciting and unpredictable.
