Hape - Dino Railway Adventure Set Wooden Train Set

Hape Dino Railway Adventure Set

All aboard for a prehistoric adventure! The Hape Dino Railway Adventure Set transports little explorers into a glowing dinosaur world, where trains wind past fossil bones, through a roaring rib cage and beneath a towering dinosaur skull. With 23 beech wood tracks, over 30 accessories, glow-in-the-dark fossils, a working crane and exciting sound effects, every journey is packed with discovery. Designed for ages 3 and up, this wooden railway set combines dino-loving imagination with hands-on building that develops problem-solving, coordination and fine motor skills.

An Immersive Dino World

Interactive features keep young engineers engaged from the first station to the last. Lift the dinosaur skull, use the crane to load cargo onto the train, and listen for exciting sound effects as the train rolls through the dinosaur rib cage. Every element invites children to explore, experiment and play.

Glows in the Dark

The dinosaur skull and bones are made from a special glow-in-the-dark plastic, so the adventure continues after the lights go down. It’s a mesmerising feature that makes evening play extra magical.

Plenty of Pieces to Build and Explore

With 23 beech wood tracks and over 30 additional accessories, including dinosaur figurines and gemstone blocks, there’s everything needed to create a rich, detailed dinosaur landscape.

Learn to Problem Solve

Designing and building track layouts involves planning and problem-solving, as children work out how to create loops, bridges and junctions. Each new layout is a fresh challenge that builds spatial reasoning and confidence.

Supports Early Development

Placing train cars on the tracks and connecting them helps improve hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, while building and rebuilding layouts encourages focus and persistence.

Open-Ended Play That Grows

The set is compatible with other railway sets, so children can expand their layouts and build unlimited track designs. It’s a toy that grows with their imagination.

Play Idea: Lead a Dino Expedition

Encourage your child to become a dinosaur tour guide, leading an expedition across the tracks and sharing facts about different dinosaur species and their habitats with their passengers. It’s a fun way to build language, storytelling and early science knowledge.
