Today we are reviewing some of our best, most awarded, and games for kids in 2015. I mean after all who does not love a kids games. We can all remember those days with mum and dad, where we sat there for hours playing over summer on those rainy days. And often when we started playing one game it leads to another.

Games for Kids have come a long way since I was a kid. Not only are they are a lot more fun, but we have also managed to sneak in a lot of learning into the new games, especially over the last 5 to 10 years. If you have followed along with us, you will know that we believe learning should be fun. And it is proven when we are enjoying ourselves we learn faster, and deeper.

So in today’s article we are going to cover the 13 of the leading games for kids in the market today. We feel we will have a game or two for you in our collection of over 100 games for kids.

The first one to roll off the list is Roll and Play by Thinkfun. Designed to be one of your little one’s very first game. It is a big plush cube that you roll or toss across the floor and whatever coloured side faces up,  you choose the matching colour card. If you get a Cow card you Moo, and if you get a Happy Face, you make a happy face :). This game has almost won ever award possible with over 17 or more to the collection so far. This is game for kids that even big kids will enjoy.

This is such a fun game for kids; the towers can be arranged in so many ways but you need to arrange them in a way that gets your marble to the target tower. So you have to build carefully a path that works.


If your little one like Turtles or wants to learn about computer programming than Robot Turtles is just the trick. The first game for kids in the world designed to help your child learn about computer programming. This game is one to play with Mum or Dad. As your little on creates code for the computer, (you) make beep sounds, pops and zaps, or goofy beeps. This one is a delight for you and them.

As far as Games for kids go, this is one of the best-selling games in the world. It is Rush Hour and was recently voted one of Parents Choice Best 25 Toys of 25 Years. It is a complex problem-solving game, that uses traffic or gridlock as the challenge! It might have been handy for me before I started driving :). If your little one has just started learning fractions at school and having trouble getting their head around the concept. Then Fraction Fortress is the game of you. We have had nothing but great feedback from our customers. This game lets them physically see how fractions work, and ideal for rapid learning of the concept.

Of course you have, but have your heard of the game for kids “Let’s feed the Very Hungry Caterpillar.” Now your little one can play the game that is based on the best-selling book by Eric Carle.

Your little one moves the Caterpillar from fruit to fruit, collecting unique butterfly puzzle pieces. The first player to collect them all makes a beautiful butterfly and wins the game.

There is no such thing as a Gruffalo game! But what is this game, with Rhyming Gruffalo Cards that helps your little one learn language and rhymes. This will be good at summer time, don’t call me good said the Gruffalo, you will have to play me first if you like Gruffalo Games.

Suitable for four years +, this is one those games for kids, that we feel is a must.



Last on our list for Games for Kids today is Brain Quest Smart. This game has been adapted from America’s number 1 educational game bestseller. Combining Science, Maths, Reading, Art, and the World the winner is the first one to answer all the SMART questions correctly. Makes sense right?
